Woah! We got Snoop?! LET’S GO!
The Miami Dolphins have signed former Pro Bowl quarterback Tyler “Snoop” Huntley from the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad, according to NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero.
Tyler “Snoop” Huntley, a 26-year-old Pro Bowl quarterback, has signed with the Miami Dolphins after spending the past four seasons with the Ravens. Huntley, known for his dual-threat capabilities, will serve as a backup to Skylar Thompson, who is starting in place of the injured Tua Tagovailoa (concussion). Huntley’s impact could be significant in the coming weeks, with his first opportunity to contribute set for this Sunday’s road game against the Seattle Seahawks. The Dolphins also have Tim Boyle on their practice squad.
Huntley made a name for himself when he replaced an injured Lamar Jackson during the 2022-23 season. He went 2-2 as a starter, throwing for 658 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions. He also came close to leading the Ravens to an upset victory over the Bengals in the wild-card round.
