On September 16, Action Network invited over 3,000 football fans to vote on various categories related to the NFL, including “Which team’s visiting fans are the most annoying ? Mand What behaviors bother you most at NFL games?” One category that has garnered significant attention in the sports media is “Who is the most annoying player in the league?”
In this voting, Miami Dolphins receiver Odell Beckham Jr. came in third with 10% of the votes, while Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce took second with 17%. The title of “Most Annoying Player” went to the controversial New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who received 27% of the votes.
Despite Rodgers’ impressive accomplishments, including being a four-time NFL MVP and a Super Bowl champion, fans often find his off-field antics—such as his psychedelic drug use, holistic lifestyle, and the controversy over his COVID-19 status—frustrating.
After the results were announced, media personality Colin Cowherd, known for his critical views on Rodgers, expressed his excitement on “The Herd.”I’ve always had this issue with Aaron Rodgers, and fans say it’s just me. But today, it’s clear it’s not just me,” Cowherd stated.
