In Manchester United’s loss to Tottenham, Bruno Fernandes has criticized the decision to send him off, stating James Maddison thought it was unfair to give him a red card.
After a midweek draw with FC Twente, United wanted to bounce back against Tottenham. However, Spurs’ Brennan Johnson gave them the lead after just three minutes.
Fernandes’s red card at the end of the first half compounded United’s problems, setting the tone for a terrible afternoon at Old Trafford.
Three minutes after the break, Dejan Kulusevski made it 2-0, and in the 77th minute, Dominic Solanke added a third goal from a corner to further inflict further damage on United.
