Ahead of this week’s WWE Live event at Co-op Live, we had the pleasure of inviting star Cody Rhodes to explore the Etihad Stadium and the City Football Academy.
Known as “The American Nightmare,” Rhodes is the current Undisputed Champion and is in Manchester for Wednesday’s event at the brand-new arena. He’ll be going head-to-head with Solo Sikoa in an Undisputed WWE Championship Bull Rope Match. Fans can also look forward to exciting bouts featuring “Main Event” Jey Uso against GUNTHER in a World Heavyweight Championship Street Fight, as well as Bayley facing off against Nia Jax in a WWE Women’s Championship Match.
Famous names such as Randy Orton, United States Champion LA Knight, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, as well as Shinsuke Nakamura, will also be in attendance for the event.
With all the excitement ahead, Rhodes took some time on Monday to tour our world-class facilities. He sat in the home changing room next to a shirt crafted to make him feel like a part of the Premier League champions’ squad.
Rhodes also got to take in Pep Guardiola’s view of the pitch before meeting the Premier League trophy and exploring the training facilities where our players prepare.
