Man City star Matheus Nunes to face no further action amid exaggerated ‘arrest’ reports

According to reports in Spain today, Matheus Nunes, a midfielder for Manchester City, was taken into custody last month following an altercation in a Spanish nightclub.

The rumors that Matheus Nunes was detained in Madrid during the most recent international break were fabricated, so Spanish authorities will not take any further action against him.

The midfielder for Manchester City, Nunes, had some free time during the Blues’ inactivity last month as he was not selected for the Portugal team. According to reports on Wednesday, Nunes got into a fight at a nightclub in Spain, after which he was taken into custody and questioned at a police station while wearing handcuffs.

The Spanish authorities will not pursue any further action against Matheus Nunes because it was falsely reported that he was being held in Madrid during the most recent international break.

Due to his exclusion from the Portugal squad, Manchester City midfielder Nunes had some free time during the Blues’ inactivity last month. Nunes reportedly got into a brawl in a Spanish nightclub on Wednesday. Following the altercation, he was handcuffed and brought into custody to be questioned at a police station.
