At the next El Clasico, Barcelona will wear jerseys with the Coldplay emblem.

As part of the team’s sponsorship agreement with Spotify, Coldplay is expected to be the next band to appear on Barcelona jerseys for the El Clasico.

In previous matches against their toughest rivals, Barca has worn the logos of Drake, Karol G, Rosalia, and the Rolling Stones. According to Sport, they will now wear Coldplay for the match in October.

Only a few weeks after Coldplay is scheduled to release their most recent album, Barcelona is scheduled to play in La Liga at the Santiago Bernabeu on October 27.

When Coldplay performed in the city last year, they stopped over to meet the players after being observed attending Barcelona games in the past.

The story also mentions how the band’s song “Viva la Vida” was played as a farewell to the Camp Nou before to redevelopment work starting, and how it has been used to commemorate titles at Barca.

Johnny Buckland, the bassist, has also talked about it and Coldplay’s love for Barcelona.

It’s amazing that this song truly came to be in Barcelona. “I did know about Barça and I remember thinking, how fantastic, when I read about it back then. They were the finest team on the globe and they played football from another galaxy. We adore performing it, particularly in this place where it originated and holds such a profound significance.
