he final four matches of the second round will take place at the WTA Seoul event on Thursday. There are a number of interesting matches on the slate on day four at the Korea Open and, as always, we here at LWOT will be offering our predictions for every match. But who will advance to the quarterfinals and who will fall to defeat?
Emma Raducanu did extremely well to win her first-round match against a tricky player in tough conditions. It was not the cleanest match from either player but Raducanu fought well in the tiebreaks. She did look short of match fitness and the forehand was all over the place. She must improve to win against Yue Yuan, who had a slow start in her first-round match but cruised after the first set. Yuan’s serve was a weapon for her. This will be a great test for both players and I have Yuan progressing.
