La Liga 2 side Real Zaragoza has implemented drastic measures this week in an effort to challenge Spain’s top football clubs.
Mundo Deportivo, referencing Heraldo de Aragón, reports that Real Zaragoza has banned Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Real Betis from their Sports City. This move is designed to prevent scouts from these La Liga clubs from visiting the facility going forward.
As per the aforementioned MD:
‘Real Zaragoza has decided not to allow scouts from Real Madrid and FC Barcelona into its Sports City in response to the flight of youth players that the Aragonese club has suffered in recent times.’
The sanction, it is understood, will be in effect for ‘all the matches of the Real Zaragoza youth teams’
