The Braves aim for a series win with Charlie Morton on the mound for Sunday Night Baseball.

The Braves are keeping their playoff hopes alive against the Dodgers and are now tied for the final wild-card spot following the Mets’ loss to the Phillies. With Charlie Morton on the mound tonight, Atlanta needs a strong performance to stay in the race. Morton, while no longer a top-tier pitcher, has improved his walk rate and if he can limit walks and home runs, he could provide a boost for the Braves’ offense.

Opposing him is Walker Buehler, who has struggled since returning from Tommy John surgery. Once a dominant force, Buehler now sports a 5.95 ERA and has seen his strikeouts decline. If the Braves’ offense can capitalize, they have a good chance to come out on top in this matchup.
